Educators working at all levels are invited to join us for a day filled with practices designed for beginners as well as those with prior meditation experience. Renew your spirit; heartfully connect with fellow educators; develop your capacity to be fully alive and rest in your present moment experience with openness and kindness.
In the morning, you will be guided through a variety of mindful awareness practices including sitting and walking meditations, mindful eating, and mindful movement. There will be meditations for cultivating sensory clarity, focus, loving- kindness, and compassion.
The afternoon will address mindful communication in educational settings and provide attendees time to practice compassionate speech and deep listening, skills that can be used in both professional and personal life. There will also be time to engage in group dialog with others having shared interests.
This day is for beginners as well as those with prior meditation experience.
ACT-48 credits will be available for educators.
