2018 Mindfulness in Education Saturday Symposium

This day-long conference will include:  

A. Morning Plenary panel discussing mindfulness in PreK-12 education (Linda Lantieri- CASEL & Inner Resilience), Higher Education (Michael YellowBird-North Dakota State University) and Research (Karen Bluth- University of North Carolina) followed by a moderated Q & A.

B. Afternoon Workshop sessions exploring mindfulness with youth, PK-12 educators, college educators, and parents, facilitated by: Margaret Callahan, Michele Chatman, Morris Ervin, Jr., Marisela Gomez, Argos Gonzalez, Kaira Jewel Lingo, Jay McTighe, and Peggy Smith.

C. Interest group dialogues (small communities of conference participants with shared interests)

D. Closing MIEN community building experience

Lunch will be provided and there will be an option to eat in silence.
