This day-long conference will include:
A. Morning Plenary panel discussing mindfulness in PreK-12 education (Richard Brady- MiEN Founder), higher education (Michelle Chatman, University of the District of Columbia, UDC) and research (Alexis Harris, University of Virginia) followed by a moderated Q & A.
B. Afternoon Workshop sessions exploring mindfulness with youth, PK-12 educators, college educators, and parents, facilitated by Deborah Donohue Keegan; Mayuri Gonzalez; Tim Iverson; Fiona Jensen, Adria Kennedy, & Katie Medlar; Kaira Jewel Lingo; Andrew Jordan Nance; Julie Kim & Nichole Bukowski; and Christopher Willard.
C. Interest group dialogues (small communities of conference participants with shared interests)
D. Closing MIEN community building experience
Lunch will be provided and there will be an option to eat in silence.
